We got up early and had fun around the camp and met a really
nice guy who was biking to Boston with some friend to support those who
have arthritis. Really nice guy who himself has suffered with it since
he was a small child. Soooo...if you feel inclined please click on his
link and donate to his cause. I'll Post the link later.
We Left Flagstaff KOA, such a pretty pretty place. I would love to go back there and spend more time :-)

Our
first stop of the day was the Montezuma Castle.
That was really
cool...well actually it was 108 degrees...Hot! But the sight was really
neat. Incredible what people can do to give themselves protection and
community.
We also went and saw the Montezuma Well which was a natural
underground spring that caved in and made big crater. It was
beautiful. Luke and Ben had a great time with each other hiking to the
bottom. Of course, for Luke after hiking up to the top of half dome a
few weeks ago, he didn't consider this a hike at all.

Our next
was stop was Casa Grande Ruins. We weren't sure if we were going to make there
but I am glad we did. It was still 108 degrees outside but wow what an
incredible sight.
The main building had these holes on the sides and
the middle. They discovered that on the equinox the hole
would line up perfectly with the sun. Once again really neat to see how people live.
Wow, we were tired. We planned it that the first 3 days of the trip would be the longest and boy did we feel it.
