Cathy and Ben have started doing research on the insects we encountered on our trip across country. The kids would collect the insects, stick them in a zip-lock bag and throw them in my freezer. Many times I would open the freezer and weird things would come falling out......thank heavens for zip-lock bags. There was one huge bug that was just not dying of cold, creepy!!
So the creepy bug that Luke was chasing around, trying to catch, at the very end of this video, ended up being a Tarantula Hawk. This bug has the most painful sting of all stings! Thank God we didn't get stung!
